The Maplewood Hotel

This painting is one of three in a series Lily Dale Assembly in New York commissioned me for their 125th Commemorative Anniversary. It was an honor and great fun for me. I spent a lot of time with the historians of this well known Spiritualist Community to understand the history, sorting through lots of photos and listening to wonderful stories of the past. My intent when painting these landmarks was to represent how things looked in the 1800s with how they look today, also acknowledging Spirits who continue to walk the grounds.

Being an intuitive painter, I genuinely believe that Spirit guided these paintings.
