Reflection Along The Ganges

While spending time in India, I was inspired by the simplicity and the beauty of the country. One afternoon during my travels I joined a group of people in Rishikesh spending the afternoon meditating along the Ganges River. The Ganges is considered a sacred body of water and in the Northern city of Rishikesh the river is flowing down from the Himalayan Mountains and is cold, clear, and moving swiftly.

This painting was created using several photographs for reference to create and capture a beautiful moment in time.
